Description
The folding umbrella from Francesco Maglia answers the question that the walking model cannot: what does a man carry when he cannot commit to a stick? Since 1854, the Milan workshop has made folding umbrellas with the same material standards and manual attention as their walking counterparts.
This version carries a polished Canadian maple handle — a hardwood with a fine, consistent grain that takes a high polish and ages with dignity. At 42cm folded and 88cm open, it is the model designed for bags, briefcases and the honest uncertainty of European weather.
